Witches, secrets and lies vocabulary

Beam: a long piece or bar of metal, wood, etc., used to support a roof, building, or other structure.
Bewitching: captivating.
Hay: grass cut and dried for use as food for animals.
Minister: a person with authority to conduct religious worship.
Nodded: to make a slight, quick bending movement of the head, as in agreement, greeting, or command.
Pendant: a hanging ornament on a necklace.
Pretending: to put forward a false appearance of, so as to deceive.
Saddles: a seat for a rider on the back of a horse or other animal.
Slammed: to shut with force and noise.
Spanking: moving rapidly; quick and vigorous; brisk:
Splutter: to talk rapidly and unclearly, as when excited
Stake: a stick pointed at one end for driving into the ground as a boundary mark, part of a fence, etc.
Wringing: to twist with force
